Launching efforts to establish a research and development innovation program in cybersecurity

The National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA) has launched the Cybersecurity Innovation, Research and Development (CSIRD) program to set strategic directions and drive national initiatives in cyber security research and innovation in Qatar. As part of this effort, a series of workshops have been introduced, bringing together researchers and experts to explore the latest trends in cyber security, exchange insights, and collaborate on developing innovative digital solutions. These workshops also aim to support research projects, foster a culture of scientific innovation, and transform ideas into practical technologies that enhance national cyber security. Launched under the National Cyber Security Academy in collaboration with the Qatar Computing Research Institute (QCRI), the program serves as a cornerstone in shaping cyber security strategies, aiming to bring together academic, industrial, entrepreneurial, and governmental institutions to develop an integrated research ecosystem that keeps pace with rapid digital advancements.
