The National Cyber Security Agency is preparing to commence the training camp for new graduates

In its pursuit to enhance cybersecurity indicators and reinforce the stability of cyberspace, the National Cyber Security Agency is preparing to commence the training camp for new graduates. This camp aims to refine the skills of the new graduates in the fields of information technology, cybersecurity, and digital safety, qualifying them to provide added cyber value to the institutions they work for. It will equip them with the latest information in the field of cyberspace. The program includes intensive training courses, assessments, and examinations, with trainees receiving certificates from accredited trainers in the fields of information technology and cybersecurity.
In this context, Mrs. Dalal Al-Aqeedi, Director of National Cyber Excellence Department, confirmed that the program has a strategic dimension. Its influence is not limited to enhancing the cybersecurity skills of the trainees but also extends to investing these skills in the work environments where the trainees are employed. She also pointed out that the program aims to strengthen Qatar's reliance on its citizens to support cybersecurity indicators. The program focuses on assessing and training cyber talents within the state, contributing to achieving a secure and stable cyberspace. Mrs. Dalal Al-Aqeedi emphasized that the program adopts a wide range of modern training modules, including technical skills, capability skills, network fundamentals, cybersecurity analysis, creative thinking, adaptability, cyber simulations, and more. This diversity and richness in training content contribute to preparing a generation of cybersecurity experts capable of enhancing cybersecurity indicators within their institutions.
Mrs. Dalal Al-Aqeedi also confirmed that the training program spans 38 training days, distributed over a period of 3 to 6 months. The program adopts a flexible approach to training by offering in-person sessions at various training centres, including the National Cyber Security Agency headquarters, the Digital Excellence Centre, and partner locations.
Additionally, the training camp for new graduates is one of the training courses within the National Cyber Security Training Program. This program is built on two main foundations: cybersecurity awareness and career advancement in the field of cybersecurity. It includes several sub-training courses, such as the training camp for new graduates, the professional program, the managers program, and the leaders program. Through the National Cyber Security Training Program and its various courses, the National Cyber Security Agency aims to provide cybersecurity training and qualification services to a broad segment of society, including the general public and employees in both government and private sectors, whether they are cybersecurity specialists or non-specialists. This effort seeks to enhance cybersecurity indicators in the state and provide a secure cyber environment.
