Overview
The Cybersecurity Educational Curriculum project seeks to foster a digitally responsible society by empowering children and adolescents with the knowledge and skills of digital citizenship. Through collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education, we aim to equip future generations with the ability to navigate the digital landscape confidently and securely. By utilizing innovative educational tools, the project promotes cybersecurity awareness and prepares students to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world.

The Curricula and Qatar Vision 2030
The Qatar National Vision 2030 serves as a roadmap for transforming Qatar into an advanced society capable of achieving sustainable development, with the aim of providing a high standard of living for all citizens by 2030. The vision aims to bridge the present with the future, envisioning a vibrant and prosperous society characterize by economic and social justice, while maintaining a balance between the environment and humanity. It seeks to uphold Islamic values and strong familial bonds as its fundamental pillars.
Cybersecurity Education Curriculum project... two years of achievement
Since the initial launch of the Cybersecurity Education Curriculum project in March 2023, and after its implementation over two consecutive academic years (2022/2023) and (2023/2024), remarkable results have been achieved both quantitatively and qualitatively. This highlights the importance of the project and confirms its leadership. The following is an explanation of the project’s achievements on both quantitative and qualitative levels:
Quantitative Achievements (Number of Schools):
On a quantitative level, the project has achieved remarkable results, as it has been implemented in a large number of schools across the country, including:
- 214 government schools.
- 178 private schools.
- 39 schools for community students.
- 2 schools of students with special need
Qualitative Achievements (Cybersecurity Awareness among Students):
The project has effectively achieved its objectives in enhancing students’ awareness of cybersecurity concepts and digital safety. This is evident through students’ high ability to effectively deal with the following concepts:
Full understanding of safe internet browsing rules.
- Awareness of internet risks and ability to prevent them.
- Awareness of malware risks and prevention methods.
Full understanding of cybersecurity and digital safety concepts. - Ability to protect personal data.
- High ability to avoid negative phenomena such as internet addiction.
- Awareness of reliable sources of information.
- High ability to create strong passwords.
